Can I join a class after the class starts?
You may not be able to sign in after the class starts for a few reasons. So that you don’t experience a delay, please log into the class at least ten minutes before the class starts.
Zoom, for security reasons, has installed a waiting room feature. As you enter the class, you will be placed in this virtual waiting room until the class host/instructor admits you. This process has to be done one at a time. Once the class starts, the host/instructor might not see that you’ve entered the waiting room.
Additionally, today’s technology can often be unpredictable. Signing in early means you’ll have time to troubleshoot any unexpected delays due to internet connectivity, passwords, etc. Our instructors often begin classes with important safety announcements and describe what equipment you might need during class.
NOTE: Zoom updates and restrictions are beyond our control. Their upgrades are helping to keep you more safe on-line. We have selected the highest level of security possible. We sincerely appreciate your patience with this new technology. We are in this together!
Please email groupx@americanfitnessmi.online if you cannot locate the password in your email.
